About this item

A handcrafted cylindrical hanging lamp in natural fabric, with a hand-painted Warli-style forest scene of birds, animals and plants.

Product Description

Bring a little of the forest indoors with this handcrafted pendant lamp. Its band of Warli-inspired artwork shows a leaping big cat, a deer, a bird and curling trees above a wavy border pattern, all drawn in the simple, expressive lines this tribal art is known for.

The shade is made from natural fabric in earthy forest green and warm beige tones. When lit, it gives off a soft, golden glow and the artwork stands out as a silhouette against the light. The plain cylindrical shape suits modern, bohemian, Scandinavian, rustic and contemporary interiors.

Made by skilled women artisans, each lamp carries the mark of the hands that shaped it. It works well in living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, reading corners, cafés and boutique hotels, and makes a meaningful gift for housewarmings, festivals and weddings.

Use an LED bulb for bright, efficient light that lasts longer.
