Aipanart Decoration Wooden Sri Laxmi Pith brings the traditional Aipan folk art of India onto a handmade wooden stand. The top is painted red, with Laxmi’s footprints at the center of a white yantra-style pattern inside a gated square frame. Smaller footprints sit around it, and a scrolling floral vine runs around the frame. Scalloped arches and star-shaped flowers fill the border, and a band of yellow dots, triangles, and flowers decorates the sides. The turned legs are painted red with small decorative motifs.
The pith is made from 12mm plywood and measures 18 x 18 x 10 inches. Master artisans craft the wooden pieces, and the women of Uttarakhand paint them by hand. It works well as a puja chowki, a stand for displaying your antique artworks, or a decor piece in a home temple, especially during Diwali.
Because each piece is handmade, the fine design, pattern, and color tone may vary slightly from the image. The quality stays the same.
Aipanart is a platform that showcases the traditional Aipan art of India and works to preserve this cultural heritage. Each design is crafted to support local artisans, encourage cultural exchange, and inspire a new generation to value the beauty and meaning of this ancient art form.
