Aipanart Decoration Sri Shiv Pith Wooden Chowki brings the traditional Aipan folk art of India onto a handmade wooden stand. The top is painted red, with a maze-like geometric pattern at the center. Trishuls stand at its corners, and a damru sits on each side. Om, a swastik, a bell, and a shankh decorate the four corners, and a border of triangles and flowers in white, orange, and yellow frames the top. Zigzag and wave patterns run along the sides, and the turned legs are painted red with small decorative motifs.
The chowki is made from 12mm plywood and measures 18 x 18 x 10 inches. Master artisans craft the wooden pieces, and the women of Uttarakhand paint them by hand. It works well as a puja chowki, a stand for displaying your antique artworks, or a decor piece in a home temple.
Because each piece is handmade, the fine design, pattern, and color tone may vary slightly from the image. The quality stays the same.
Aipanart is a platform that showcases the traditional Aipan art of India and works to preserve this cultural heritage. Each design is crafted to support local artisans, encourage cultural exchange, and inspire a new generation to value the beauty and meaning of this ancient art form.
