Aipanart Decoration Wooden Var Pith Chowki brings the traditional Aipan folk art of India onto a handmade wooden stand. The top is painted red, with a detailed white, orange, and yellow design. A round mandala sits at the center, with a nine-block square inside it that holds Om in each block. Lattice-patterned paisley shapes stand on either side, and a lotus with two birds rises above. Smiling sun faces fill the upper corners, and two kalash, a shankh, a bell, and Laxmi’s footprints fill the lower part. A border of half-mandalas and flower squares frames the whole top.
The chowki is made from 12mm plywood and measures 18 x 18 x 10 inches. Master artisans craft the wooden pieces, and the women of Uttarakhand paint them by hand. It works well as a stand for displaying your antique artworks, a puja chowki, or a decor piece in a home temple.
Because each piece is handmade, the fine design, pattern, and color tone may vary slightly from the image. The quality stays the same.
Aipanart is a platform that showcases the traditional Aipan art of India and works to preserve this cultural heritage. Each design is crafted to support local artisans, encourage cultural exchange, and inspire a new generation to value the beauty and meaning of this ancient art form.
